What is general waste?
General waste refers to products that are no longer of use, made up of various waste streams. While it does include most of the things you may consider to be “rubbish”, it does not comprise of liquids or hazardous waste. When hiring a skip bin, other exclusions may include food waste and soil, among other things.
What you can and can't recycle
The following is a basic list of what can and can’t be put into a general waste bin. This list is not exhaustive but does cover the most common items people consider as general waste.
